Laurie Loughney began her professional life 40 years ago as a social worker and administrator. In 1998, she became a licensed nursing home administrator. She ultimately became the Chief Operating Officer  of a large continuing care retirement community, a position she held for 15 years. In 1998, she began teaching and managing a course for prospective assisted living administrators.  From this humble beginning, Longtree & Associates was born. Today, under the leadership of Laurie Loughney, Longtree & Associates provides education, consultation and mentoring throughout the country. Through it all, Laurie Loughney has always maintained her core values of honesty, integrity and hard work. I am proud to call Laurie my friend and colleague since the very beginning of Longtree & Associates. Due to her vision for Longtree & Associates, Laurie has contributed to improving the quality of care and the quality of life for seniors throughout the country.
